Born in Durban, South Africa, Warren would travel up to the Drakensberg Mountains at a young age, camp and walk for days in the forests and ridges with amazing waterfalls and scenic valleys, slowly falling in love with the beauty of nature.
After a few years in Johannesburg working, singing and playing guitar in pubs, clubs and restaurants he decided the wild was calling and packed up. Everything was sold and off he headed to Hazyview, a small town just outside the Kruger Park. For the last 30 years Warren has pursued his passion of conservation, wildlife photography and adventure.
Whilst acquiring his level 3 FGASA in wildlife, Warren ran photographic safaris into the Kruger Park and adventure tours to Mozambique, eventually owning his own safari company with numerous safari vehicles and developing two small lodges in Mozambique from beach sand to completion of the built lodges and then operating them.
His desire to travel, his dedication to conservation and passion for wildlife photography eventually took over and he decided to dedicate all of his time to the profession.
After much critical acclaim, from the likes of National Geographic and the South African art scene, Warren is proud to be associated with African Storm and to finally share his talent with the world.
